(Kalamazoo, MI) The Kalamazoo Speedway will be in action one more time for the 2014 season with the World Series of Compacts presented by Blaine Miller Emergency Road Side Service of Fort Wayne. This event will be promoted by Andy Jach, Tony Eldridge, and Derek Davis that will feature FWD Compacts paying $2,222 to win A Main, RWD Mini Stocks pay $600 to win A Main, and Mini Cups $200 to win and $50 to start. This two day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 25th, and 26th.

The FWD World Series of Compact's will pay $2,222 as the winner will be walking out with 1,111 in $2 bills thanks to Culp Auto Salvage of Athens. The B Main will pay $300 to win and $65 to start. The C Main will pay $200 to win and $50 to start. The World Series of Compacts already has entries from ME, MI, IN, OH, PA, WI, and IL representing 7 states. The Worlds Series of Compacts entries include Vores Challenge Series Champ Todd Metz, Jr., Vores Cup winner Kyle Stark, North East Mini Stock Series Driver Pete McCollett, Vores North Champion Mike Richardson, Vores South Points Leader Gary Eaton, Jr., M-40 Speedway Champion Mike Long, and many more.

The two day show will kick of on Saturday, October 25th, at 4:00PM featuring World Series Qualifers, Bracket Bashes, Race of Champions, Mini Stock Heats, and Mini Cups will run a full show. Addition to the racing there will be a Trunk or Treat for the Kids from 8:00pm-9:00pm. The Saturday night Main Event will be The Legend of the Sleepy Zoo race. This race will be open to Enduro Cars and World Series FWD Compacts. The race will be contested for 25 laps with each car being recommended to place a 12 Volt Stock Automobile Headlight attached to the rear of the roof. The track lights will be shut off when the green flag flies with all drivers racing at top speeds in the darkness of the Kalamazoo Speedway. This isn't your typical two day show were you will just see heat races. Then on Sunday, October 26th, at 2:00PM, you will see the Mini Stock A Main, Mini Cup Full Show, and all Features for the World Series. General Admission each day will be just $10 for Adults, Students 10-15 $8, and Kids 9 and Under Free!!!
