Fun Was Had By All Ages at Kids and Anniversary Night!

It was a Classic Mid-Summer night at the Berlin Raceway Entertainment Complex! It was Kids Night where all kids got in free and also 64th anniversary night and featured a classic 4-in-one racing show! The Budweiser Outlaw Late Models ran a 64 lap feature in honor of the 64th anniversary of Berlin Raceway!

The VROA Vintage Modifieds help us recall what Berlin must have looked like in early days! A full field of cars took green flag, but the race was marred by several caution flags and a red flag for oil. The race was cut short due to time constraints, but the #55 of Joe Mazie had been in command since around lap 5, and took home the win!

The Kalamazoo Vapor 4-Cyl Division had another full field of over 20 cars. After two great heat races the stage was set for the feature. A Big field of cars took the green flag and the field spread out quickly. The race went caution free and featured a final lap pass not once, but twice in between lapped cars and Chad Clark came home the winner in a GREAT all green race.

The Enterprise Iron and Metal Sportsman were up next, and the points chase is as close as ever. After a couple of early yellow flags, the field was able to fan out a bit and featured great racing. Brian Thome, second in points gained a few more precious points setting up a great points battle in the Sportsman division. Brian scored his third win of the season!

The Budweiser Outlaw Late Models were the final feature of the night! Many cars were prepping for the Money In the Bank 125. After an early race caution with a bad wreck with Adam Terry and Scott Thomas in turn 1 and 2, the race went green to the finish in a special 64 lap feature in honor of the 64 years of operation and racing at Berlin Raceway! Terry Senneker once again took off and never looked back. Tom Thomas came home second around 3 seconds behind. Senneker continues to lead the points in the Outlaw Late Models.
