T. Senneker...Another Klash payday.

Postby Ron Verash » Mon Aug 18, 2014 1:21 pm

Despite Jeff Ganus and Brian Bergakker collecting wins in the first two
segments of Kalamazoo Klash XXII, Terry Senneker picked up the third and
final segment, resulting in a $10,000 payday and his fourth Kalamazoo
Klash title. It is Senneker’s fourth Klash victory, which ties him with
12-time track champion Andy Bozell for the most ever in the nation’s
premier Outlaw Super Late Model event. Bergakker finished second ahead
of JR Roahrig, Steve Needles and Tom Thomas. Ross Meeuwsen led the
second half of the top ten over Andy Bozell, Ganus, John Long and Adam
Terry. Senneker was the fastest of the 39 qualifiers while Corey Ryman
won the Last Chance race.

The return of the ARCA/CRA Super Series to Kalamazoo Speedway proved to
be successful as Kyle Busch and Johnny VanDoorn put on a thrilling late
race duel that resulted in Busch collecting his first Kalamazoo Speedway
victory. Travis Braden finished third ahead of Ross Kenseth and Chad
Finley. Alec Carll finished sixth beating out Todd Gilliland, Wes
Griffith Jr., Joe Bush and Ali Kern. Busch was the quickest of the 31
qualifiers while the Last Chance race went to Justin Claucherty.

This Saturday, August 23 the battle for the NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series Outlaw Super Late Model championship could come to an end one
week early as Mike “Bubba” Brooks leads by 191 points entering the
season’s penultimate event, the “Steensma 50”. Brooks could leave
Saturday night with his second crown in as many seasons. The Super
Stocks could also see a champion crowned as Buddy Head leads his brother
Kenny by 117 points entering Saturday night’s “Allstar Performance 35”.
The Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will also be in action, as will the Cyber
Stocks, who will run “Cyber Stock Madness Presented by Applebee’s”. It
will also be the final autograph night of the season, so get there early
to get your favorite drivers autograph. The autograph session will start
at 6:00.
