The K3 Classic" Modified Twin 25's presented by Great Lakes Lifting Solutions announces race format

This Friday night, September 13th, Great Lakes Lifting presents "The K3 Classic" - Twin 25's for UMP Modifieds.

The format will be as follows. All UMP modifieds will qualify one lap. The Top 8 qualifers will be locked into the first feature and will be lined up by redraw. The remaining cars will line straight up for heats where the Top 3 or 4 (depending on car count) will transfer into the feature, again straight up.

Non-qualifers will run a semi feature to determine additional add on cars into the second feature and to also determine alternates for cars from the first feature unable to run the second feature.

Great Lakes Lifting is also adding a $200 bonus to the overall winner of "The K3 Classic" by using lowest combined feature results. In the result of a tie, the lowest finisher in the night's second feature will be crowned champion.

The first feature will be run a distance of 25-laps. The winner of the first feature will then roll two dies in Victory Lane added to the number four (4) to determine the invert for the second feature. This gives us a number anywhere from six (6) to sixteen (16) for the invert. No one racing in the first feature will no what the invert will be until the race winner rolls the dice. The second feature feature will also be a distance of 25-laps.

Previous winners of "The K3 Classic" include Gary Cook Jr. - 2009, Nick Allen - 2010, Steven Brooks - 2011, and Devin Gilpin - 2012
